BioI'm from Wales and I have a BA in history from University of Wales Bangor. I used to live in Germany and Canada. When I was younger, it was my ambition to be a soprano at the Welsh National Opera in Cardiff and as a child I sang in several choirs at my local Catholic church. I'm in my 20s and thus still developing my fach but apparently it is a lyric soprano. I love "The Phantom of the Opera" (book and stage musical, the 2004 film, well, sucked) and I also like British folk music. "Moulin Rouge!", "Age of Innocence", and "Titanic" are my favourite films and my favourite cartoon is "Anastasia". I love romance, hence the journal title. My favourite period in history is Victorian, particularly European. I work at a museum and my husband is a music teacher.
I also like anything to do with Germany or Italy, because my Dad is Welsh/German/English and my Mum is German/Italian. I also really enjoy going to London to visit my relatives and shopping. I've have been known to spend 50 quid in ten minutes flat at Portobello Road, so watch out if you like antiques!
